Four decades of working with wood: the 40th anniversary of Łąccy Company is approaching.
The old year is coming to an end. The year 2023 will be a special time for Łąccy Company as we will be celebrating our 40th anniversary! We have prepared for this occasion by refreshing both our corporate website, Łąccy, and the websites of our brands, MoonWood and ArtFloors. We have also implemented updated logos. Four decades of working with wood have allowed us to gain immense experience, which we strive to efficiently utilize, improving our products and providing our customers with the best solutions. We don't hesitate to say that we are proud of this and eager for more!
The company's history dates back to 1983 when Zbigniew Łącki opened a sawmill in Kołczygłowy. The sawmill continues to operate today, supplying timber to both us and our domestic and foreign customers. The beginnings of the Jezierzo facility are associated with the production of pine boards, followed by boards joined using micro-joints. Over time, we equipped the Jezierzo facility with modern CNC machines, a press for gluing wooden boards, and a robotic painter. Currently, the plant is undergoing further stages of modernization. The Barnowo facility initially produced primarily drawer components. Currently, we manufacture oak ArtFloors layered floors there. The youngest of Łąccy's facilities is the MoonWood furniture production plant in Kołczygłowy. In 2021, we built a large hall there with a technologically advanced park of machines, a CNC processing center, and a painting workshop. In addition to furniture, we produce beech and birch plywood in various formats in Kołczygłowy.
Both brands created by Łąccy have achieved significant market success in Poland and abroad. The MoonWood furniture family consists of several collections. One of them - the BÓN multifunctional furniture collection - received the Good Design award in 2021, granted in the prestigious competition of the Institute of Industrial Design. Within the collection, we offer exclusive solid oak furniture with functions that can be extended thanks to a clever system of easily attaching and detaching additional elements - trays or mirrors. We also use oak for the production of flooring. ArtFloors is a family of wooden layered boards, which comes in fourteen different color variations. In addition to durability, wear resistance, and a noble appearance, one of their biggest advantages is the possibility of installation with underfloor heating.
Many years of intensive activity and development have allowed us to achieve self-sufficiency. We use raw materials processed in our sawmill for both furniture and floorboard production. We also produce plywood and boards in-house. Wood is not only a material for our craftsmanship but also a great passion for us. We treat it with due respect and care. We have obtained the FSC® certificate (license code FSC-C014840). It is awarded only to products positively verified in terms of supporting responsible management of natural forest resources. We also care for nature on a local scale. Among other things, we organize actions to build nesting boxes for birds and place them in our area. In addition to respecting the natural environment and offering top-quality products, innovation is also among our priorities. To develop it, we cooperate with higher education institutions.
